HOUSE OF SMUDGE IS NOW OPEN!

Around a decade ago he began exhibiting and selling work at venues like the McGuinness Gallery at Bishop Auckland Town Hall, The Bob Abley Art Gallery at Spennymoor Town Hall, Spennymoor Settlement and Discovery Museum in Newcastle. His work also hangs in the four-star Ramside Hall Hotel, Durham.

RAMSIDE HALL HOTEL COMMISSION

ARTWORK by a council handyman is adorning the walls of one of the region’s top hotels after its owner spotted his talent in an exhibition.

When John Adamson, of the four star-rated Ramside Hall Hotel, near Durham City, saw an exhibition of John Smith’s work he was instantly impressed.

ARTISTIC TRIBUTE TO SCHOOL

TWO artists have produced their own tributes, in very different styles, to a beloved school building following its demolition.

John Smith and Neil Grayson both used their creative talents to commemorate the former Tudhoe Grange School, in Spennymoor, County Durham, after it was pulled down last month.
